Four-star cornerback Fabian Ross committed to USC football.
USC football still needs to put the finishing touches on the recruiting class of 2021, but they’re already working on loading up the class of 2022.
On Monday, four-star cornerback Fabian Ross announced his commitment to the Trojans, becoming the fourth prospect in the class.
“I would like to announce for my Dad’s birthday today that I will be committing to The University of Southern California,” Ross wrote on Twitter.
Ross represents yet another victory for USC DBs coach Donte Williams, who was just promoted to associate head coach. He was responsible for bringing in a spectacular defensive backs class for 2021 and he’s clearly not slowing down.

Ross ranks No. 176 in the 247Sports composite as his senior year approaches. He’s played his ball for Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas where he had 20 tackles, three interceptions and three passes broken up as a sophomore in 2019. He ranks No. 21 among cornerbacks for 2021.
Blair Angulo of 247Sports called the 6-foot, 185-pound a “tough cover corner” who compares to Chidobe Awuzie.
Even though USC added players like Ceyair Wright and Prophet Brown in the class of 2021, the need for talented cornerbacks isn’t lessened. Olaijah Griffin is off to the NFL Draft and projected starters like Chris Steele and Isaac Taylor-Stuart may not be far behind.
Ross also had scholarship offers from Oregon, Washington, Michigan, Notre Dame and more.
